Benoît Lamarche is a member of the Institute of Nutrition at Université Laval. His work on the Mediterranean diet, dietary fats and their impact on cardiometabolic health has toured the world. He has published more than 330 scientific articles that have collectively been cited nearly 22,000 times in high-impact journals. He has received many awards and recognitions over the years. As a specialist in food and health, he has developed research in data processing. He is leading a major project on the correlations between socio-economic and environmental data of cities and nutrition quality of inhabitants.
