Open map of the global pause

Join the Online Challenge on May !

Together we are creating the global map of the benefits of containment. This unique global experiment goes further in a matter of weeks than any international climate agreement. We need to keep track of the unprecedented and historic events we are experiencing.

Contribute to the world map of natural phenomena of the planetary pause.

Traffic in the air, on sea and on highways has been interrupted, industrial production has been halted, and entire populations are now confined. The Covid-19 pandemic, a health crisis with no precedent in modern history, is forcing humanity to make a pause.

And, while we are compelled to restrain our activities and to decrease our sound level, positive natural phenomena are occurring everywhere on the planet sometimes at an unexpected speed: the waters of Venice are clearing, the sky is reappearing above Beijing, the Himalayas can once again been seen from hundreds of kilometers away, wildlife can be sighted with an unusual frequency, animals are taking possession of the streets, and greenhouse gas emission rates are dropping.

The goal

To Build a global and collective testimony of the planetary pause. A testimony for ourselves and for future generations: The Open Map Of The Global Pause. We must contribute to the evolution towards equilibrium, the relationship between man and nature by observing how nature and man have recomposed their relationship during this period.
