Turbulence of gravity waves: numerical approach and analytical results.

We shall derive primordial dynamical equations for surface gravity waves (i.e. waves dominated by the gravity, so capillary effects are negligible). These equations are represented by system of integro-differential equations for elevation of and velocity potential on the surface. In order to describe wave turbulence in the system, we shall introduce statistical approach to the problem as well. Numerical simulation of turbulence of gravity waves results in formation of direct and inverse cascades corresponding to the fluxes of integrals of motion (this concepts will be introduced during the talk). Results will be compared with predictions of the Wave Turbulence theory and possible reasons explaining deviation of the numerical experiment from the theory will be discussed.
